Hi
I made this account to participate in the ID competition here on the forum. I'm not interested in beetles as so, but I think that they're amazing creatures, that I enjoy seeing in my garden. I wish you good luck with the forum!
And thank you for making this competition.

Hi, I've been collecting beetles from all over the world for about 40 years. I have around 65000 specimens mounted, maybe 15500 species, all families (except the families I have not found!). Don't buy or sell, just collect. I live in the US, Albuquerque, New Mexico and am retired from a career as a research scientist in chemistry. Now I just do beetles. Hopefully this forum will grow larger as more beetle-people find it. Rick

Hi to all members, I am a nature enthusiast and I've always had an interest in plants, insect and beetles, and wanted to find others who share the same interest and have a discussion. Have a look at my flickr! www.flickr.com/photos/132574141@N04/ Thank you!

Hi,
I'm interested in beetles and I do it al. At work, I conduct Scientist studies on conservation and monitoring of beetles. While, in my free time I also study them, collect them to get a better insight in their distribution and breed them to understand their ecology. My main study species are Lucanus cervus, Cucujus cinnaberinus and Elater ferruginea at the moment. I breed Mtu and several other Cetonidae and Lucanidae. You can find me in Belgium.

G'day everyone,
I am an ecologist and live in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. I collect insects trapped by carnivorous plants in Queensland, Australia. Some of my studied carnivorous plants consume Coleoptera, especially during the wet season. Thank you for letting me in this forum.
Cheers, Irwan
