Hi,
This thread is thought to be an identification competition with species of Coleoptera (Beetles), well known and famous around the world. You're welcome to post photographs of species, as long as you have the rights to post it, and attribute the original photographer. The idea is that everybody then can come with their guess on the species, and then at last, the uploader of the picture tells what it really is.
RULES:
1)You HAVE to attribute the original photographer of the picture you upload. 2)The picture has to be of a well known and famous species (e.g. Stag beetle (Lucanus cervus).
Everybody is welcome to come in and join!

Yes andreww, for a garden owner with potatoes in his/her backyard it's not a nice thing to see this around!
