There is quite a good number of high-quality photo-websites for Coleoptera on the internet. Here is some of those, that I personally use. Links can be found below. www.eurocarabidae.de/ ( Only european Carabidae; I've already linked to this in an earlier post, but it sure is worth linking to again)carabidae.org/ (Worldwide Carabidae)cerambycidae.org/ (Worldwide Cerambycidae; however, as the site is quite new, not many photos has been uploaded yet)www.colpolon.biol.uni.wroc.pl/ (The polish Coleoptera fauna in general; overlaps with the fauna of many other countries - for a database version: coleoptera.ksib.pl/search.php?taxonid=200020&l=en&dds=par)www.kerbtier.de/enindex.html (The german Coleoptera fauna in general; overlaps with the fauna of many other countries)www.koleopterologie.de/ (The german fauna of Coleoptera, as well as Heteroptera; overlaps with the fauna of many other countries)Please note, that many of these sites also contain other material than photos that may be interesting for the student of Coleoptera. Take a bit of time to surf around on these sites, and get to know them. You sure will benefit from it! If you know of any good photo-websites, please post them here, so that others will be able to benefit from them as well!

Some others as well: www.coleo-net.de/coleo/index.htm (As well as a lot of photos, this website contains some very useable keys, among other things)
www.elateridae.com/?lg=uk&idp=&kat= (Photos, information, newsletters and much more; mainly about Elateridae)
www.stippen.nl/index.php (Dutch Ladybirds - both larvae and imago; overlaps with the fauna of many other countries)
www.dermestidae.com/index.html (Worldwide Dermestidae; lots of good photos, information, ID help etc.)
Please note, that many of these sites also contain other material than photos that may be interesting for the student of Coleoptera. Take a bit of time to surf around on these sites, and get to know them. You sure will benefit from it!
